In May 1962, almost 60 years ago S.L Akintola was charged with disloyalty of the Action Group (AG) This resulted to the AG crises that led to the declaration of State of emergency in the Old Western NIGERIA by the Federal government led by Tafawa Balewa.
Whilst the APC coalition was going on in late 2013, CPC (North) came with only 1 sitting governor whilst the South-West came with 5 sitting governors & 1 from the South-East. After much deliberation, the North was given the mandate to move their agenda hence Buhari came on board to be the president.
Today, that 1 CPC governorship position now controls the whole of the APC causing rancor & division amongst the south for 2023 election.
Again this obviously shows that YORUBA people don’t learn. Now the North has to dictate who be next president come 2023.
Tinubu lost this game
